Handsworth Parramore had too much quality for Penistone Church during their 3-1 victory.

Parramore fielded their new signings in the win as Tom Dugdale, Micky Harcourt, Conor Higginson and Danny Holland appeared.

Former Shaw Lane AFC captain Sam Denton sweetly struck a bullet free kick from over 30-yards, minutes before half-time to place Parramore in front.

Kieran Wells doubled that advantage straight after the interval by converting Collin Marrison’s knock down.

Trialist Joe Long did his chances of gaining a deal with Penistone a world of good with a stunning effort late-on. A very unlucky own goal sealed Parramore’s victory.
