Garforth Town manager Rob Hunter welcomes Simon Poole to the J.S White Community Stadium
Former Ossett Albion and Nostell Miners Welfare midfielder Simon Poole has put his name down to play for new-look Garforth Town this season.
Poole left Nostell towards the end of last season and has been training with Garforth for the past few weeks. He came through the ranks at Ossett Albion before moving to Nostell in October 2013.
One of Poole’s biggest strengths is his athleticism. He can also play upfront.
Garforth are now reaching the nitty-gritty stage of their squad building. Manager Rob Hunter wants to finalise his squad for the new season by the 25th July so tough decisions are going to be made in the next week.
More new faces could still arrive at the J.S White Community Stadium though.
