The feel-good factor is definitely back at Worsbrough Bridge after the resuscitated club won for the first time since November.

Worsbrough, under the brave new leadership of Ian Shirt, Kev Wright and Josh Wright, beat Central Midlands League outfit Askern 2-1.

Antony Hylton got Liversedge’s goal in the 1-1 stalemate with Padiham, while Armthorpe Welfare drew 2-2 with Sheffield FC.

The match on the 3g surface at Harrogate Town was a success as Simon Weaver’s men beat Hyde United 3-0 with Jordan Robertson (2) and Dom Knowles scoring.
