Wing wizard Jordan Coduri is staying at AFC Emley, according to Darren Hepworth.
The versatile attacker, one of Emley’s best players last season, sent the rumour mill spinning after appearing in Brighouse Town’s recent friendly with FC Halifax Town.
However, Hepworth insists that Coduri is remaining at the Welfare Ground and is committed to helping Emley win promotion.
“I know there was some speculation about Jordan as he had 45 minutes for Brighouse, but he has his eye on wearing an Emley shirt this season,” Hepworth said.
“He’s not going anywhere, he’s an Emley player.
“I’m very pleased he’s staying. It is good to see that players want to better themselves, but I have made my ambition very clear here this year and I want the very best players and I want to get this club promoted.
“That’s means that people like Jordan Coduri are very important to us.”
