Toolstation NCEL Division One
Freddie Swales and Curtis Bernard have rejoined Yorkshire Amateur ahead of the new season.
Defender Swales has returned to the area after three years at Newcastle University. He played at the Ammers and Glasshoughton Welfare before moving up North.
Bernard, in his day a top Evo Stik striker, has been unable to play his football on a Saturday for a few years. He has had prolific spells at clubs like Farsley Celtic, Scarborough Athletic and the Ammers.
Swales also brings his university friend Andy Townsend to the club. Townsend was a top player for Northern League Division One outfit Birtley Town last season.
Leeds City pair Leroy McIntosh and Nick Bishop have signed on the dotted line for the Ammers as well. Holding midfielder McIntosh was the captain of the leading West Yorkshire League Premier side.
The final signing is local lad Salu Dawo, who scored the second goal during the 3-2 defeat to Farsley Celtic on Saturday.
