Hemsworth Miners Welfare manager Wayne Benn still wants to sign “one or two” more new players before the season begins in nine days.
The Wells chief has also completed the capture of Glasshoughton Welfare striker Del Pollock in the past few days.
“Del is a pacy forward who scored a number of important goals last season for Glasshoughton,” Benn said.
“He will be a very good addition to our squad and gives us something a little different to the other strikers in our squad.
“I’m also looking to add one or two more before the start of the season.”
Hemsworth are at home to Shaw Lane AFC this evening.
