Young midfielder Jack Stockdill has signed and popular goalkeeper Brett Souter is staying.
That’s the good news from Ossett Albion.
There was some doubt whether Non League Yorkshire’s Division One North goalkeeper of the season Souter would re-sign for them.
Richard Tracey said: “With the capture of Jordan Bradshaw they now have two excellent keepers competing for the number one spot. Brett is an outstanding young keeper and we are delighted to keep him, we have no doubt he will eventually play higher in the game and to secure him for this season is a big plus.
“Also joining is Jack Stockdill from Harrogate Railway. We tried to sign Jack over 2 years ago when he was with Guisley but for a number of reasons we couldn’t get the deal done.
“However we have worked really hard to get him here this summer and Lee Ashforth has been great in helping us. He was terrific for Railway before he got injured and hopefully he can continue to score goals from midfield for us.”
