Former York City goalkeeper Michael Ingham will be between the sticks for Tadcaster Albion this season after all.
Ingham, who was York’s goalkeeper for eight years, has been continually linked with the Brewers since starting work with owners i2i Sports. Such reports were played down and it was said at the time that Ingham was looking to sign for a National League North side.
The signing is a big one for Tadcaster as Ingham played in the Football League for York last season.
Billy Miller said: “Michael is an outstanding keeper with a huge amount of Football League experience. His knowledge and experience will be extremely beneficial to the team. I am sure he will have a big impact on the club and become a fans favourite.”
Ingham will make his debut for Tadcaster in the home friendly with Spennymoor Town on Saturday.
