Frickley Athletic have persuaded star goalkeeper Sebastian Malkowski to sign a one-year extension to his contract which will keep him at Westfield Lane until May 2018.
The Polish stopper was a revelation for Frickley last season when they surprised many by finishing seventh. He came to the UK last year after playing professionally in Poland.
Frickley chairman Gareth Dando said: “To secure Seb for a further two years is a massive boost for the club.
“He’s been outstanding for us and played a big part in our 7th place last year.
“We’ve looked after Seb and helped him and his family to settle and we’ve very happy he’s committed to the club.”
