Jordan Hendrie has signed for Harrogate Railway

The son of Bradford City and Barnsley legend John Hendrie is one of two new signings at Harrogate Railway.

Defender Jordan Hendrie featured for Albion Sports last season and ironically could make his Railway debut against his old club in Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round tie.

Hendrie is a former Guiseley academy player, who also has experience of Evo Stik Division One North football from a brief spell with Ossett Albion.

His father served clubs such as Newcastle United, Bradford, Middlesbrough and Barnsley. During his time at Oakwell, he scored a famous goal against Manchester United in the FA Cup.

The other signing at Railway is a familiar face in the shape of Cameron Lyn, who appeared for them at the start of the season.

The dangerous winger went onto feature for Ossett Town and Ossett Albion after leaving Station View.
