Garforth Town manager Rob Hunter with Russ Headley
Garforth Town have made their final two signings of pre-season ahead of the Emirates FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round tie at Chester Le-Street.
Manchester-based midfielder Russ Headley is reunited with Rob Hunter after previously playing under him at Glasshoughton Welfare. Headley has played in the Evo Stik when New Mills were a successful side.
Catching the eye is the signing of young Casey Stewart, the cousin of Scarborough Athletic striker Carl Stewart. He has played for Tadcaster’s first team on a few occasions.
