Doran Jordan has returned to AFC Emley
The return of Doran Jordan has underlined the strength of AFC Emley’s squad, Darren Hepworth has said.
The winger has returned to the Welfare Ground after almost a year away at ambitious West Yorkshire League side Shelley.
Jordan is one of several very popular players who have returned to Emley this summer. Liam Schofield and Aaron Joseph have also re-signed.
Hepworth told Non League Yorkshire: “Dozza is thrilled to be back and so are we to have him,”
“He’s had a taste of it somewhere else and he does know what he’s up against in the dressing room.
“We’re going to be 60-plus games this season so you are going to need 18-20 players. You can’t do that with 11 or 14 players.
“Dozza will get his chance like everyone else.
“We’ve about done (on the transfer front) and we have some real strength in depth.”
