Adam Walsh was the hero for Glasshoughton Welfare after he scored in the last minute of extra-time to send his side through to the second round.
Glasshoughton beat Brigg Town 4-3 in a see-saw cup tie at the Hawthorns which saw Adam Hayton score a rare hat-trick.
Brigg went ahead on 30 minutes through Finn Kelly but Welfare hit back with captain Adam Hayton’s penalties on 34 and 45 minutes.
Paul Grimes pulled Brigg level on 79 minutes but Hayton completed his treble put Welfare back in front on 79 minutes.
The Welfare players were stunned on 90 minutes when Grimes got a second to send the game into extra time.
Fortunately defender Walsh rifled a shot home with almost the last kick of the game.
AFC Emley were the victors in a penalty shootout in the epic tie with Pontefract Collieries at the Welfare Ground.
Jordan Coduri and Ash Flynn scored for Emley in the 2-2 draw after extra-time. Jordan Turner got both goals for Pontefract.
Eccleshill United won 3-1 against Westella & Willerby.
Lee Garside’s goal was in vain as a much-changed Worsbrough Bridge side lost 2-1 at Ollerton Town.
Yorkshire Amateur were beaten 4-1 at Winterton Rangers.
