“it’s a tough defeat to take for all of us today. The lads where superb and did everything that was asked of them.
“Their character and commitment was second to none as we went all out for our first three points of the season.
“We all know football can be a cruel game at times and today we felt the pain but it’s a long season and I’m sure during this long demanding season there will be a role reversal.
“With a number of senior players unavailable the lads are still finding their feet in a tough league but it’s still early days and we won’t be running off and hiding away, we will remain a tight unit and face whatever is thrown at us starting Saturday when we travel to Dronfield Town in a must win game.”
