Goalkeeper Jon Stewart may have been sent off during the second half, but that did not stop Shaw Lane from getting off to a great start.

The Ducks already had a two-goal lead at that point after controlling the early proceedings.
Star man Gavin Allott fired them ahead with a low effort before Jono Wafula struck with a header.

Stewart saw red early in the second half for hauling Paul Sullivan down outside his penalty area. Lane’s new Polish deputy goalkeeper Mateusz Zaniewski took over and was unable to keep out Jack Langston’s free kick.

Chasetown penned Shaw Lane in for large periods, but Zaniewski and his defence did well to keep them at bay.

The tension got too much for Chasetown assistant manager Cameron Stuart who clearly hasn’t heard about the FA’s clampdown on poor behaviour as he was sent to the stands.

From there he watched Allott seal Shaw Lane’s victory with a penalty.
