Harrogate Town attacker Andy Gascoigne has joined Frickley on loan for a month
Harrogate Town manager Simon Weaver has allowed midfielder Andy Gascoigne join Frickley Athletic on loan for a month.
He arrives in time for the trip to Stafford Rangers tomorrow. Frickley are hoping to claim their first win of the season after two straight defeats in the first week, against Ashton United and Workington.
Gascoigne is still rebuilding his football career after suffering a serious leg break in February 2015 whilst playing for Harrogate.
He returned to action last December and Harrogate have given him every possible chance to prove himself again.
Gascoigne was a major signing for Harrogate in January 2015. Weaver beat off competition from other clubs to sign him from Goole AFC where he had been a revelation. Prior to playing for Goole, he was a major player for Sheffield FC.
