Jordan Snodin has signed for Maltby
Maltby Main have strengthened their squad this week with the signings of Jordan Snodin and Sam Stacey, following on from signing Shawn Mitchell from Swinton Athletic the week before.
Snodin, son of former Leeds United captain Ian, previously at Leeds, played in the Evo Stik Premier with Hyde last season and had been in talks with club at a higher level, but opted to sign for Main last night. Stacey, previously with Millmoor Juniors, has also been added and made his debut in the game at Garforth on Tuesday night.
Spencer Fearn said: “We are delighted with the three players we have brought in over the past 10 days. In Jordan we have a lad who has been courted by teams in higher divisions and there is no doubting his pedigree, he has a fantastic left foot and we are excited to have him at our club, we have already seen the impact that Sam Stacey and Shawn Mitchell have made since they joined and these lads will add further quality to the squad.
Fearn expects at least one more signing next week as he bolsters a squad that has been ravaged by injuries of late. Reece Wesley returns for the game away at Armthorpe tomorrow and Snodin will be making his debut.
