Billy Miller is expecting a carnival atmosphere for the mouthwatering Preliminary Round tie between Tadcaster Albion and Scarborough Athletic.

There will be a massive crowd at the i2i Sports for the clash.

“It is a fantastic tie and I can’t wait,” Miller said.

“Steve Kittrick has a phenomenal CV. He did a great job at Guiseley and I’m sure he’ll make Scarborough a formidable side.

“There’s a link between the two clubs because of the players we have had at the football club like Brownie (David Brown), Liam Ormsby and Carl Stewart.

“I’m sure it will be a fantastic game. I’m sure Scarborough will bring a few across and it is going to be a great day.”

Maine Road v AFC Emley

AFC Emley have a good chance of creating history, but Darren Hepworth’s main aim is to see a better attacking display.

A win will see Emley progress to the first qualifying round for the first time since reforming in 2005.

“For me, it is about going and getting a good performance and being better going forward than we were at Penistone (in midweek),” Hepworth said.

“We’ll see what that does. They’ll be saying the same thing as us that’s it is a winnable game.

“I watched them at Nostell so we know a bit about them. I’m not worried about them, I’m more concerned about how we play.

“I would love to progress, but I’ve said all the way that the priority is the league.”
