Despite going down to ten men, Ossett Town came from behind to beat Goole AFC 2-1 in the Preliminary Round tie.
David Taylor placed Goole in front early on, two minutes before Ossett’s Andy Hawksworth was straight red carded for a challenge on Luke Mangham – ironically his former Garforth and Ossett team-mate.
That did not stop Ossett as Devonte Morton struck twice to guide the Ingfielders through.
Brighouse Town earned themselves another crack at Glossop North End after recovering a two-goal deficit.
Brighouse trailed to two early strikes before Lee Spires and Ernest Boafo scored.
Farsley Celtic hammered North West Counties side Congleton 6-0 away from home.
James Walshaw hit a hat-trick. Richard Marshall (2) and Paul Walker also scored.
A depleted Shaw Lane AFC side lost 1-0 to big-spending Colwyn Bay. Massive players such as Gav Allott and Jon Stewart were missing for the Ducks.
