Highly-rated Yorkshire Amateur midfielder Harrison Blakey has signed for Liversedge.
The move ends his two-and-half year association with the Ammers, with whom he had become a popular figure for.
He has been consistently one of their best players in the past two seasons – so much so that Farsley Celtic showed interest earlier in the summer.
Blakey, son of former Yorkshire and England wicket keeper Richard, joins a resurgent ‘Sedge side that is looking to put a few years of struggle behind them. He could potentially make his debut tonight at Handsworth Parramore.
