Connor Smythe scored the late equaliser for Handsworth Parramore

Handsworth Parramore came from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with bogey side Liversedge at Sandy Lane.

Connor Smythe’s late long range strike rescued a point for Parramore. Vaughan Redford was the star man for ‘Sedge with his magnificent first half hat-trick.

Parramore gave themselves hope as half-time approached when Simon Harrison’s run and cross was converted by Jon Froggatt.

The second half introduction of Tom Dugdale and Alex RIppon breathed life into Handsworth. Within five minutes, Kieran Wells slid Rippon in and the winger scored past ‘Sedge goalkeeper Ben Hunter.

With 15 minutes to go, Smythe became Parramore’s saviour. Parramore winless run against ‘Sedge now stands at three matches.

Bridlington Town lost 2-1 at home to Clipstone.

In a bizarre ten minute period midway through the second half, Bridlington went ahead through Joel Sutton’s penalty.

Josh Nodder equalised within 120 seconds before going onto score the winner soon after.

Albion Sports continued their brilliant start to the league campaign with a superb 5-1 win at Rainworth Miners Welfare.

Former Pontefract striker Aaron Moxam gave Rainworth an early lead, but Albion showed great character to come back. Josh McKiernon, Asif Hussain, Omar Habeeb and Danny Facey (2).
