Paul Quinn says Brighouse Town need to replicate their defensive display against Glossop North End from now on.

Defensively there were a few concerns for Quinn, but the dramatic Emirates FA Cup replay win on Monday night has pleased him.

Paul Quinn said: “We were steady against Radcliffe, we dominated at Ossett for large parts of the game, but we gave two or three goals.

“We talked about that at training and looked at the video. We can’t gift sides goals. We did that at Glossop, but I thought we were a lot stronger defensively in the replay.

“We know we need to keep improving on that because going forward we have enough to hurt most sides.”
