Pickering Town left-back Sam Lingard has joined Garforth
Pickering Town left-back Sam Lingard has become the latest player to join Rob Hunter’s Garforth Town.
He is the fourth left-back to join the Miners this summer. The position has been a problem area for Garforth as Chris Simpkins and Luke Kitson have both suffered injuries. Centre-back Joe Dunned played in the position in the 2-2 draw with Barton Town Old Boys on Tuesday night, but he had to be carried off because of a bad injury. Hunter also has former Nostell left-back Jamie Allsop on the books.
