Joe Walton helped Liversedge climb to the top of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division table
Liversedge climbed to the top of the table after thrashing Maltby Main 4-0 at Muglet Lane.
The brilliant victory was enabled by goals from Joe Walton, Rhys Davies, Ste Wales and Vaughan Redford. Walton struck in the fourth minute and his goal was backed up by three second half strikes.
Athersley are only a point behind as the Rec’s excellent start continued with a 5-2 win over struggling Retford United.
