Garforth Town 0-3 Pickering Town
Pickering Town never looked back after breaking the deadlock at Garforth Town after just two minutes.
Ryan Blott netted the opener after Garforth failed to deal with a corner properly.
In one of few chances for the Miners, Simon Poole was denied by Pickering goalkeeper Toby Wells.
Pickering’s second goal on the stroke of half-time was controversial. The assistant referee raised his flag for offside as Blott went through. The striker scored and referee Luke Watson overruled his assistant to give the goal.
Pickering put Garforth out of their misery on the hour mark with a Ged Dalton goal.

Very interesting that you haven’t reported on the defeat Garforth took against Cleethorpes Town and funnily enough you have been reporting about Hemsworth in the past few weeks but nothing again about how they lost four nil against Cleethorpes Town yesterday . You appear to be very selective about what you report and appear to have a thing not reporting on Yorkshire sides who play Cleethorpes Town Not a very balanced view.
I believe that James Grayson at nonleagueyorkshire can only publish match reports when he receives them from people who give up their time to compile comprehensive reports. You will find that sometimes, clubs who lose a game, do not send a match report. Whether my club (Glasshoughton) lose or win I send a match report in and James always publishes it. If James is not reporting at a game that he is attending, then he has to rely on others to send him a report. It is up to individual clubs to give him information. I am sure that he is not biased to any reports/clubs,
Based on the view that you have put forward I will be very interested to see what reporting goes on when Cleethorpes Town play Yorkshire based teams. James seems to be very negative in his approach to Cleethorpes Town and their involvement as a NCEL Premier based team. So far he has not given a balanced view in my opinion but as always I will wait and see what he has to say in the future, not very impressed so far in respect of a team that is at the for front of the NCEL and has been for the past two seasons.
