Emirates FA Cup

Record breakers: Handsworth Parramore line up prior to the Emirates FA Cup victory over Squires Gate on Saturday

Record breakers: Handsworth Parramore line up prior to the Emirates FA Cup victory over Squires Gate on Saturday

Yorkshire’s lowest ranked clubs Bridlington Town and Handsworth Parramore have been handed tough draws in the second qualifying round.

Bridlington will host National League North giants Harrogate Town, while Parramore will welcome Burscough.

The stand-out draw is Tadcaster Albion’s home tie with local rivals Farsley Celtic. The draw guarantees that a Yorkshire Division One North side will be in the next round for the first time in a few years.

Ossett Town have a big prize if they beat Billingham Synthonia in the replay as they will face a bumper payday as they have been drawn at home to FC United of Manchester.

Bradford (Park Avenue) will face big-spending Salford City for the second year running.

FC Halifax have been handed a relatively straight-forward draw at Ashton Athletic.

The Draw

Bridlington Town v Harrogate Town

Handsworth Parramore v Burscough

Ashton Athletic v FC Halifax Town

Tadcaster Albion v Farsley Celtic

Bradford (Park Avenue) v Salford City

Ossett Town or Billingham Synthonia v FC United of Manchester
