Danny Frost was the hero as Ossett Town staged a dramatic comeback in the dying minutes to book a glamorous second qualifying round tie with FC United of Manchester.

Ossett fell behind on two occasions and appeared to be heading out until there was a divine intervention from Alex Peterson and Frost.

The night got off to a bad start as Macauley Langstaff’s freak cross found its way into the net.

Ossett responded on the half-hour mark when Leon Henry’s strike came back off the bar and Frost was on hand to score the rebound.

The second half started badly for Ossett because Matthew Crust put Billingham back in front.

Time was rapidly running out until Peterson lobbed the visiting goalkeeper with just eight minutes left on the clock.

Inevitably, Frost was Ossett’s saviour with the last gasp winner.
