Chris Wood got the winner for Pontefract
Red hot Chris Wood struck the winner as Pontefract Collieries continued their perfect start to their Division One campaign.
Pontefract have won all four of their league games – the latest being the 2-1 win at Teversal. Andy Seed got their other goal.
Hallam and Yorkshire Amateur played out a pulsating 1-1 draw at Sandygate. Matty Ord opened the scoring for Hallam, but a second half goal from Tom Marsden cancelled it out.
In the Premier Division, Alex Rippon (2), Kieran Wells and Danny Holland scored as Handsworth Parramore won 4-0 at Rainworth Miners Welfare.
Dan Broadbent got a hat-trick in Thackley’s 5-1 demolition of Parkgate. Ben Joyce and Robert Foulds also scored.
