Graham Nicholas stood aside at Nostell on Tuesday night after just nine games in charge

Nostell Miners Welfare are officially advertising for a new manager, in the wake of the resignation of Graham Nicholas.

Nicholas handed his tracksuit in following the 3-2 defeat to Grimsby Borough on Tuesday night, citing personal reasons for his exit from the Wakefield-based club after just nine games in charge.

Nostell want someone local who “has the ability to attract good local players” and can “develop a strong club ethos” as his replacement.

Interested parties please email nostellmwfc@hotmail.com as soon as possible.

Nostell need to appoint someone sooner rather later as they only have four points and are in danger of being sucked into a relegation battle.

It doesn’t get any easier either as heavyweight side Hallam visit on Saturday.
