Brad Kerr scored the decisive goal as in-form Worsbrough Bridge matched their total number of wins from last season.
Resurgent Worsbrough are unbeaten in three games and the victory was their third of the campaign.
Returning strike duo Lee Garside and Kerr, who missed the 0-0 draw at Glasshoughton, got the goals. Captain Garside scored the opener before Kerr gave Bridge a solid half-time lead.
Rossington pulled a goal back in the second half, but Worsbrough held on.
