Non League family pays tribute to Dan

The reaction from the Non League family to the tragic passing for Shaw Lane AFC defender Dan Wilkinson has been immense.

Players and supporters of Shaw Lane and Brighouse Town laid flowers on the pitch at the Dual Seal Stadium last night, 24 hours after the terrible tragedy.

Clubs across the region who were involved in fixtures also held either a minute’s silence or applause.

Thousands of people have also expressed their condolences via social media.
