MacAulay Parkinson secured Frickley Athletic their overdue first point of the season with the last minute equaliser on Tuesday night.

Although they did not win, Frickley delivered on their promise to throw the kitchen sink at a strong Workington side.

Frickley dominated the first half and they went in front through Tom Guest after just seven minutes.

The match started going against Frickley when Bailey Gooda was sent off for a second bookable offence at the start of the second half.

Workington took advantage with goals from Joseph McGee and David Symington.

But Frickley refused to give in and keep into injury-time and Parkinson was able to force the deserved equaliser.
