Brighouse Town have let James Hurtley join AFC Emley to get game-time after his nine-match ban ended on Monday.
Hurtley was serving the long suspension because of his red card for an altercation with some spectators in the victory over Mossley, the final fixture of last season. He received the mandatory three-matches for it, but the FA threw six further games onto because of the severity of the offence.
The short-term dual-registration has been completed in time for Hurtley to potentially make his Emley debut in the FA Vase trip to Ashton Athletic tomorrow.
Winger Jacob Buchanan has also joined Campion under the same arrangement. Both players remain as Brighouse players.
