Hall Road Rangers boss Dave Ricardo says he is “frustrated” after the visit of Teversal on Saturday was postponed because their opponents have had three players called up for their local FA’s youth representative team.
The young trio are all first team players so the decision to postpone the fixture was forced on the league.
But understandably Ricardo is upset because his side have been playing well.
“The recent postponement of the Teversal fixture this Saturday is frustrating for a number of reasons,” Ricardo said.
“From a team point of view the lads are frustrated as we are on a good run of form and momentum is key when a team is winning.
“From a club perspective, there could be the extra cost for floodlight use for the re arranged fixture and attendances for midweek games are lower than weekend fixtures.
“Lastly, clubs at this level want as few games as possible during the winter months as the less games on the heavy pitches the better.”
Ricardo also confirmed that two new signings are expected to be confirmed very soon.
3 players missing means a postponement? i am sorry but does that mean they only have 9 players signed on and 3 missing players reduce them to six.
