Chris Jackson has left Selby and signed for Pontefract
Pontefract Collieries have captured striker Chris Jackson from local rivals Selby Town.
Jackson, who has a strong goal record in the NCEL and was briefly signed by Evo Stik side Goole AFC last season, goes straight into the squad for the trip to Brigg Town tomorrow.
Colls manager Craig Parry told Non League Yorkshire: “We have been looking to improve the squad and we’ve kept an eye on Chris all year.
“He adds quality and competition to an already good strike-force. We also hope to add two players to the squad next week.”
