Lee Vigars says that Glasshoughton Welfare have found their shooting boots.
Vigars said earlier this month that Welfare needed to be more ruthless after a series of draws.
The goals have flowed since and 17-year-old Nathan Keightley is the league’s joint top goal-scorer with Ash Flynn.
“We have got our killer instinct now,” joint manager Vigars told Non League Yorkshire.
“Nathan is the top is the Division One top scorer and he looks dangerous every week. He’s only 17 too.
“It is working well. Ash Scothern is fully fit now and the two of them are working well as a pair.
“The goals have come now. Not killing teams was a problem before because we weren’t taking our chances.
“It is not an issue now because we’re tucking the goals away.”
Glasshoughton host Nostell Miners Welfare tomorrow, a few days after the FA Vase second qualifying round replay penalties defeat to Hemsworth.
Vigars added: “I think the biggest thing for Saturday is getting the lads back up for it because they were all devastated.
“The amount of football we have played in the last few days will have taken a bit of a toll, but they’ve had Thursday off.”
