Ossett Town’s positive start to the season continued with a solid 2-0 win at Colwyn Bay.

Late goals from strikers Danny Frost and Devonte Morton earned Grant Black’s men the points.

Brighouse Town remain top of the pile, despite a 1-1 draw to Mossley, who Paul Quinn’s demolished a few weeks ago.

Ruben Jerome, the man who scored an unbelievable hat-trick on his debut against Mossley, was the nemesis for the visitors again.

He struck in the sixth minute before Kyle McGonigle equalised late in the first half. Steve Mallory went very close for Brighouse, but Mossley goalkeeper Liam Flynn made an excellent save.
