Former Worksop Town captain Jake Scott is the latest permanent signing at Shaw Lane AFC.
Midfielder Scott made his Ducks debut in the 2-1 win over Carlton Town on Saturday.
He had started the season at Gainsborough Trinity, who he had joined in the summer from struggling Bradford (Park Avenue).
Craig Elliott has been an admirer of the former Barnsley youth midfielder since he was Worksop’s captain during the memorable race for the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title in 2015 – one that Shaw Lane won after Worksop lost their nerve towards the end.
