Chris Wood scored a hat-trick for Pontefract
Chris Wood grabbed his second hat-trick of the season as Pontefract Collieries cruised to a 6-1 win at Brigg Town.
The Colls fell behind early doors, but Wood, debutant Chris Jackson (2) and Mikey Dunn masterminded a fierce response from Pontefract.
Penistone Church remain top of the table, with a better goals difference after winning 2-0 at Rossington Main. In-form striker Dale Kelly got both goals.
Knaresborough Town beat Grimsby Borough 4-1 at Manse Lane. Tom Hesketh, Connor Donaghue, Blaine Hobson and Fraser Lancaster scored for Town.
Sam Bradley’s last minute winner for Eccleshill United ended his side’s poor run of form and earned them a 3-2 win at Yorkshire Amateur.
Bradley also broke the deadlock for Eccleshill, whose other goal-scorer was Marcus Edwards.
A clinical second half display guided Hallam to a 4-0 win over Shirebrook Town. Jake Currie scored a double against his former side. James Reed and Jed Phillips also chipped in with goals.
