Ash Allanson has left Bridlington Town

Ash Allanson has chosen to follow his dad Gary out of the exit door at Bridlington Town after eight years of fantastic service.

Midfielder Allanson has been synonymous with Bridlington since joining them from Farsley Celtic in the summer of 2008.

He was major part of the 2010 Premier Division title victory and their numerous successes in the East Riding Senior Cup. Even when dad stood down as manager in 2011, he remained in successor Mitch Cook’s side.

Dad Gary stepped down from his second stint as Brid’s manager last week after more than three years in charge. His was replaced by Curtis Woodhouse.
