A host of new players have signed for struggling Nostell Miners Welfare.

New manager Chris Ellerby has made the additions since taking over at the Crofton Community Centre last Friday.

The most familiar face is Connah Judson who played several times for Nostell last season.

Also signed are striker Antony Brown (ex-AFC Emley, Liversedge and Brighouse), midfielder Jonny Irving (ex-AFC Emley), striker Billy Grogan (ex-Liversedge), defender Tim Wallace (ex-Brighouse Town) and full-back Eddy Busfield (ex-FC Halifax).

The batch of signings add to the captures of Leon Hurles-Brook and Bradley Wilkinson.

Ellerby celebrated his first win as Nostell boss after the 6-1 demolition of Harworth in Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup.
