The score-line reflected just how much control we had on the match.
That was the view of AFC Emley manager Darren Hepworth after his side beat Rossington Main 4-0 at the Welfare Ground.
Returning to winning ways after Saturday’s 3-2 defeat at Campion and the fact that they kept a clean sheet was the most pleasing aspect for Hepworth.
Emley had a lot of chances, but they struggled to beat excellent Rossington goalkeeper Ryan Musselwhite, who deserved a lot of plaudits for his performance.
The deadlock was finally broken as the hour approached as Tom Brennan forced the ball home.
There must have been a few nerves as the second half progressed as Rossington survived several chances that Emley could have finished them off with.
In a flurry of goals in the last ten minutes, Jordan Coduri, Kieran Ryan and Doran Jordan scored. Substitute Jordan scored with his first touch, within 30 seconds of coming on.
