Kieran Lugsden scored the opener for Shaw Lane
Kieran Lugsden opened the floodgates for new Division One South leaders Shaw Lane AFC at Loughborough.
The Ducks took control of proceedings after the hour mark. The home side did not deal with a corner and Lugsden pounced to score.
Substitute Gav Allott doubled the lead soon after Loughborough’s goalkeeper made a meal of a clearance.
Allott nearly added another goal, as did on-loan Chesterfield striker Jake Beesley, who was making his debut.
The third goal was of the spectacular variety as red hot Alex Byrne lobbed the home goalkeeper from quite some distance.
