Play-offs chasing Stocksbridge Park Steels were left frustrated by struggling Rugby after the goal-less stalemate at Bracken Moor.
Rugby have just won once all season, but their back five stayed resolute against a barrage of second half pressure from Chris Hilton’s Steels.
Stocksbridge created a whole host of chances. Scott Ruthven and captain Liam McFadyen had early opportunities turned away.
Joe Lumsden broke clear down the right, but could not score.
Jake Whelan was also denied with a shot that seemed destined for the net.
