Stocksbridge Park Steels have taken another one of Sheffield United’s exciting young players on loan for a month.

Attacker Kimarni Smith, who signed for the Blades from Stocksbridge’s rivals Basford United last season, joins ahead of the trip to Kidsgrove Athletic tomorrow.

The Steels have a very successful partnership with United and Chris Hilton has been able to use a number of their young players during his reign.

Brodie Litchfield, Spencer Maw and Kler Heh are three notable names who have appeared for the Steels in the past two years.

Winger Nathaniel Crofts has featured for the Bracken Moor club this season.

Hilton has also confirmed that young defender Connor Griffin has left Parkgate, despite the arrival of new manager Graham Nicholas. Griffin is now dual-registered with Rainworth Miners Welfare.
