Jason Yates scored the second goal for Ossett Town in the win over Bamber Bridge
Red hot Ossett Town moved even closer to the play-offs after goals from Tyrone Gay and Jason Yates earned them another victory.
Ossett started well and created several chances so the opener on 18 minutes was arguably deserved. A cross from Town’s left saw a scramble in the box and the Bsmber goalkeeper was prone which allowed Gay added to his goal in midweek to give Town what was a deserved lead.
Ossett hit the post straight after the interval. And It was the newest of these additions, Curtis and Yates, who put this game beyond doubt.
A ball from the left found Curtis who’s deft header put the ball into the path of the in-rushing former Hemsworth captain Yates, who from18 yards out struck the ball first time and sent it into the bottom corner.
