Aiden Savory propelled Farsley Celtic to the top of Division One North after scoring twice in the 2-1 win over Hyde United.

Savory scored both goals in the second half to take Farsley above Brighouse Town, who were beaten 1-0 at home to Lancaster City.

Only goals difference separates the top five of Farsley, Lancaster, Brighouse, Glossop and Scarborough.

Scarborough drew 0-0 at Trafford, while Ossett Albion scored a late equaliser in the 1-1 draw at Colwyn Bay. Nicky Matthews was the hero.

Goole AFC lost 3-1 to Colne, while a last minute goal condemned Tadcaster Albion to a 2-1 defeat at Burscough.

A late goal earned AFC Rushden & Diamonds a 3-2 win at Stocksbridge Park Steels. Harrison Biggins and Joe Lumsden scored for the Steels.

Luke Hinsley gave them the lead, but Frickley Athletic were beaten 4-1 by Nantwich Town in the Premier Division.
