Andy Horbury was the hero for Glasshoughton at Teversal after scoring twice to secure his side their fifth win out of six games.

Welfare opened the scoring on seven minutes when a great ball from Nathan Keightley found Horbury and he curled the ball into the net.

Ashley Scothern notched a second on 15 minutes but the home side pulled a goal back ten minutes later to put Welfare under pressure.

Daniel Bacon equalised just after half time and a draw looked on the cards until the 83rd minute when Keightley’s shot was blocked. The ball came back to the Welfare player who passed to Horbury and he guided the ball past a number of defenders to give the points to Darren Holmes and Lee Vigars’ men.
