Interim boss Josh Wright has bolstered his attacking options at Worsbrough Bridge with the capture of Athersley Rec forward Ryan Smith.
Smith signs ahead of Saturday’s visit of high-flying Grimsby Borough.
Wright said: He’s an excellent signing and people will be fully aware of his quality on the ball and his movement off it.
“I believe he will fit in really well with the attacking options we already have.
“Athersley Rec have been fantastic in waiving the seven days and sorting the transfer so we thank them.
“I also have Joe Singleton back in training which is like having a new signing after the injuries he’s had.
“These are both timely additions in to the squad after Saturday’s horrendous display mate in which we showed nothing like the playing level we had done in the previous three games against far better opposition. I am now looking for a massive reaction from lads.”
