Paul Marshall has boosted his Pickering Town strike-force ahead of the FA Vase humdinger with Shildon.
Marshall has persuaded former Pikes striker Billy Logan to end his self-imposed two-year exile from the semi-professional game.
Pickering face Northern League Shildon in the second round tie at Mill Lane on Saturday.
Although Shildon are one of the bigger North East sides, Pickering can take heart from Shaw Lane’s victory over Shildon in December 2014.
And with Marshall, who famously guided Harrogate Railway to the FA Cup second round in 2003, at the helm, no-one will dare write the Pikes off.
